The much anticipated “Custom Candle” Workshop is here. You’ll have the opportunity to smell dozens of fragrance oils, create your own blend or aromas and then your host will walk you through the steps to create your own custom candle to take home with you and enjoy. How cool is that?

Each ticket purchased admits one(1) person to the workshop. Each ticket includes the ability to craft one (1) candle as well as a guided host during the workshop to support you along the way.

This workshop is limited to only four (4) guests/tickets due to seating and supplies accommodations. If you have a party larger than 4, please reach out to us in advance to determine if we can make arrangements for your party.

• Supplies required to create your custom candle will all be provided
• A limited number of protective wear (eyewear, gloves, etc) is available at no cost if requested (advised for smaller children)
• You will be required to print your ticket and/or add to your apple wallet to be scanned upon checking in on the day of your workshop

Candle workshops are typically scheduled for a 2-hour block to ensure you have ample time to get creative, properly learn the techniques of candle making basics - and of course, allow your candle time to harden. Due to the complexity, we encourage you to book a candle workshop, then go to dinner and return after dinner to pickup your fully solidified custom candle. 

In addition, storage accommodations will be available at no cost for your candle. This means, you can leave your candle in store to solidify and you can pick up at a later date. Once you do take your candle home, allow it at least 7-10 days (preferably 12-14 days) to continue to “cure”. This process will be explained to you by your host. 

Please note that everyone who participates in a 1982 Candle Co. workshop will be required to sign a safety waiver at the start of the workshop. We will always do our best to protect any guest from harm when using supplies to craft an item, however, the owners, employees or property management is not responsible for any bodily injury that may occur with the possible misuse of materials. Please ensure you receive and sign a copy of the waiver at the start of your workshop.

Welcome to our workshop walk ins! We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for individuals to participate in our workshops without a reservation.

Our goal is to provide our customers with an exceptional experience and our workshops are designed to be interactive and engaging, with plenty of opportunities for hands-on crafting and open dialogue time.

Our candle workshops require double the time of our room spray workshop. Due to this reason, we may not be able to offer or accommodate a walk in for this service if there is a pre-scheduled and reserved workshop occurring within 1.5 hours of the walk in. 

For those who choose to walk in without an online reservation, we ask that you arrive at least one and a half hour before the next scheduled workshop (you can view those dates/times above). This will ensure that our host has ample time to work with you and provide you with the personalized attention you deserve. Please note that walk ins customers may not get the full 2-hour workshop experience that a reservation does, please plan accordingly.
